Since discovering that turmeric is such a powerful anti-inflammatory, I am constantly looking for delicious turmeric drink recipes. I know there are others who are looking for the same.
In all honesty, I believe you have to consume quite a lot of fresh turmeric (or powder) in order to see the benefits. However, I also believe every little bit helps.

What’s the problem with inflammation anyway?

I’ve heard this more than once and I certainly believe it to be true. That’s why it’s so important to avoid foods that you are sensitive, intolerant or allergic to. When you eat foods that your body can’t handle, the result is inflammation. And chronic inflammation is a big problem.
Turmeric as an anti-inflammatory
Turmeric contains more than two dozen anti-inflammatory compounds. In a comprehensive summary of 700 turmeric benefits studies, it was found that turmeric seems to surpass many pharmaceuticals in its effects against several chronic, debilitating diseases such as cancer, with virtually no adverse side effects (source).
