How to Stop Severe Eczema Itching Instantly
Do you have eczema? Do you want immediate relief for eczema and for your symptoms? I know you do, so I’m going to tell you how to do that.
If you have eczema and you have a dry, itchy, sore skin and cuts. I know what that feels like. I’ve been there.
I always recommend getting to the root of the problem and I can help you with that. There are specific things that you need to do in order to heal eczema.
But until you know what the root of the problem is, I’m going to tell you about a secret hack for severe eczema itch relief.
Severe Eczema Itch Relief
I’ve tried this secret hack myself. I actually only tried it one time. I don’t know why I didn’t do it more often because it’s so effective and offers immediate eczema itch relief.
When I tried it I couldn’t believe how quickly it gave me relief from eczema. Now it didn’t take it away, but it gave me relief from the symptoms.
My hands were itchy, they were sore and I just wanted some relief.
So, what is this simple hack? It’s colloidal oatmeal. Which is just ground oats.
Now you can do this yourself at home, I’ll tell you how to do that in a couple of minutes. But you can also just buy colloidal oatmeal on Amazon.
The Benefits of Colloidal Oatmeal for Eczema Itch
Before we get to the recipe I’m going to tell you three reasons why colloidal oatmeal is so beneficial for immediate eczema itch relief.
Colloidal oatmeal is an emolument, which means it soothes and softens your skin.
Collodial oatmeal is a humectant, which means it draws moisture from the air to your skin.
Colloidal oatmeal is anti-inflammatory, which means it reduces inflammation. If you have eczema, you have inflammation on your skin, and in your body as well.
How to Use Colloidal Oatmeal for Eczema
You need one cup of colloidal oatmeal. You take this cup of colloidal oatmeal and add it to a bath of lukewarm water and you soak in the bath for about 15 to 20 minutes, then you just pat your skin dry.
So you leave it on your skin. If you find it irritating, you can rinse it off.
You can do this as often as you like. You can do this daily if you need to.
This is perfectly safe for kids. For babies, I recommend using about 1/3 of a cup of colloidal oatmeal in a bath.
For some time I had eczema all over my body, in patches. But when it got severe, it was actually just my hands where I had the eczema.
So I just put the colloidal oatmeal in a bowl of water and I just placed my hands in the water for about 10 minutes. I don’t know exactly how much you would need for this method if you’re going to make it at home but I would guess if it’s for an adult, you could use maybe a tablespoon of colloidal oatmeal and one or two cups of water. If it’s for a baby, you could use maybe a teaspoon of colloidal oatmeal and a cup of water.
Want to Make Colloidal Oatmeal Yourself?
I don’t know exactly how much oats you would need to make a cup of colloidal oatmeal, but I would say maybe start with two cups of oatmeal and ground it. See how much that gives you. If it’s too much, you can just save it for another time.
