My Story

I started to experience anxiety in my early 20s. I developed social anxiety, and this went on for the next 20 years.


I struggled with this anxiety for so long, mostly by myself. No one really understood, and no one knew how to help.


How did it start?


My mom died when I was four. Not long after, my stepmother came along. She was great (and she still is great), although I didn't think so at the time. But it didn't take long before we developed a great relationship. She is still in my life to this day.


After losing my mom at such a young age, I became very close to my dad. And, when I was 21, I lost my dad too.


I was devastated. That's when the anxiety started, and it got bad. Really bad.


I couldn't even talk to my close friends and family without my face turning beet red. It seemed like there was no reason for this to be happening. But, there's always a trigger.


My Natural Healing Journey


Not long after I developed anxiety, I decided to try medication. But I only took medication for about two months because I decided I didn't want to be on medication for the rest of my life. I wanted to fix the problem.


So, I put up with anxiety for many years and I managed it the best I could. I tried many ways to relieve it and I had some success.


I used natural remedies, affirmations, breathing exercises, mindfulness and many other techniques and methods. These all helped a lot, especially the mindfulness training - I highly recommend it as a step toward healing.


Between the mindfulness training and learning to change my negative thoughts patterns, I was finally able to relieve the debilitating anxiety I had been feeling for so many years.

When I discovered my triggers and changed my thought patterns, I finally felt relief!

Healing 20 years worth of anxiety was a great challenge for me, but after accepting the way I was feeling and changing the circumstances that didn't serve me, I was able to finally heal, feel better and get on with my life.

How can I help you on your Healing Journey?

You can book a one-hour consultation or a three month package. If you choose the three-month package: 

  1. You complete an application. I will review your answers to see if I can help. If so, I will send you a link to book a FREE consultation call. If not, I may offer some resources or refer you to someone who can help.
  2. During our call, we will review your application, get to know each other a bit better and decide if we're a good fit and if I can help with your particular situation.
  3. If we find we're a good fit, we will book your first session and I will send you a link so you can purchase the three-month package.
  4. During our first session, we will create the best plan for you and your situation.
  5. In between our sessions, I will help you work through your plan, do any necessary research, gather resources and information and send you in the right direction for your next steps.
  6. We will meet online twice a month for 45-60 minutes (by phone or through Skype) to discuss where you're at, if you need any extra help, if we need to tweak your plan and I'll answer any questions you may have.
  7. I will be available to you by email (if you have a burning question that cannot wait until our bi-weekly session) and I will provide any additional resources or information by email.
