5-Step Plan for Healing Autoimmune Disease

Are you looking for a natural autoimmune cure but you don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you need some help getting organized to do what you need to in order to heal autoimmune disease? How do you make sure to add those healing foods to your diet for example?

Today I’m going to tell you how you can create a natural healing plan for yourself. I‘m going to share with you my 5-step plan for healing autoimmune disease. Step number 5 is the most important step. It’s the only thing that keeps me on track with my natural healing plan.

How to Treat an Autoimmune Disease Naturally

1. Eliminate harmful foods

The first thing you need to do is to find out which foods you need to avoid. What foods do you need to remove from your diet to prevent your symptoms? What are these harmful foods?

There are 3 harmful foods in particular that everyone should avoid. You can learn about these foods here.

2. Add healing foods

Next, you need to add healing foods to your diet. You need to find out what are the most healing foods that you should be eating every day.

3. Add supplements

Then you need to add supplements to your diet. Supplements are really helpful to speed up your healing and really, some supplements are necessary for everyone. The reason is because we are deficient in so many vitamins and minerals (zinc has been depleted from our soil and it’s crucial for good health). But there are herbs and supplements that you should think about consuming in order to heal, or in order to heal faster.

4. Plan

Write down the healing foods and the supplements that you want to take. You might want to start to try and find some healthier food substitutions as well. When you’re eliminating foods from your
diet,  it’s easier to add healthy substitutions instead of just taking that food away completely. So you want to plan the foods and the supplements and you want to decide how you’re going to start to add these into your diet.

Do you want to add some of these foods in a smoothie? Do you want to incorporate them throughout the day? How do you want to do it? What is feasible for you?

5. Meal plan

The final and most important step is to create a meal plan. This is a game-changer! I’ve talked about this before. This is the only thing that keeps me on track with any healing plan.

Creating a menu enables you to get organized with what you’re going to eat. It enables you to add those healing foods and to plan ahead so that you make sure to get those foods into your daily diet.

Or maybe it’s your kids who need a healing plan, and if you’ve got kids then you need to be really organized. I have 2 kids so I know about needing to be organized and i’m still working on that.

But one of the things that really helps me is to create a meal plan. Creating a meal plan also reduces stress and reducing your stress is really important when you have a chronic illness.

Stress is one of the triggers (because it pumps adrenaline into your body and adrenaline feeds heavy metals which trigger autoimmune disease).

When you’re stressed all of the time, it takes real toll on your body and, in fact, feeling stressed all the time reduces your stomach acid. This is key to healing chronic illness. If you have a chronic illness (i.e. autoimmune condition) you have low stomach acid. So you want to keep your stress level down as much as possible.

Reduce Stress at Dinner Time

This mini-course will help you to find healthy recipes and plan healthy meals in only one hour or less per week. This is feasible for most people. Or you can plan for two weeks if you like.

  • Know what you’re eating every day (ahead of time)
  • Have all the ingredients because you were organized and you shopped for what you needed

I can’t tell you how much relief it gives me knowing what I’m going to eat for that day. I even incorporate snacks. I create an entire meal plan at least for a week at a time. Creating one for two weeks at a time is even better because then you can go grocery shopping twice a month.
